Chavez:

Later, in 1998, Chávez began to campaign for the presidency. In working to earn the trust of voters, Chávez drafted an agenda that drew heavily on his ideology of Bolivarianism. Chávez and his followers described their aim as "laying the foundations of a new republic" to replace the existing one,

Obama:

Change We Can Believe In

Chavez:

Chávez utilized his flamboyant public speaking style, which was noted for its abundance of colloquialisms and ribald manner—on the campaign trail to win the trust and favour of a primarily poor and working class following.

Obama:

Obama did the exact same thing, Class Envey.

Chavez:

Chávez was sworn in as president on February 2, 1999. Among his first acts was the launching of Plan Bolivar 2000, which included road building, housing construction, and mass vaccination

Obama:

The Stimulus Bill did the exact same things.

Chavez:

Chávez had initiated a land transfer program and had introduced several reforms aimed at improving the social welfare of the population. These reforms entailed the lowering of infant mortality rates; the implementation of a free, government-funded health care system; and free education up to the university level.

Obama:

He is working towards Universal (Socialist Healthcare)

Chavez:

Chávez dramatically accelerated his primary objectives of fundamental social and economic transformation and redistribution.

Obama:

He is doing this throught the Stimulus Bill and has further plans to tax and redistribute.

Chavez:

Chávez also worked to expand his land redistribution and social welfare programs by authorizing and funding a multitude of new "Bolivarian Missions", including "Mission Vuelta al Campo"; the second and third phases of "Mission Barrio Adentro", both first initiated in June 2005 with the stated aim of constructing, funding, and refurbishing secondary (integrated diagnostic center) and tertiary (hospital) public health care facilities nationwide; and "Mission Miranda", which established a national citizen’s militia.

Obama:

Wants a Civilian Securuty force equal in funding and equipment as our Military. Tanks, machineguns, aircraft, granades everything the US military has except the Constitutional Controls our Military have.

Just a few of the things Obama and Chavez have in common. You can do the reasearch and see for yourself, I know most will not because if the people really wanted to be informed, Obama would not be president. After he said he wanted to bankrupt the coal industiry, Force electricity bills to skyrocket, the civilian security force and he wants the Supreme Court to rule by class not from the Constitution. But that is what government schools will do, tell you everything government is good.
